Community Hospitals
Diagnostic Clinic of Houston
Replacement Facility

Houston, Texas
The project includes the relocation of the Diagnostic Clinic of Houston to 80,000 SF of newly renovated space approximately one mile north of the Texas Medical Center. Diagnostic spaces include MRI, CT, Gen Rad, R&F, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Echo, Cardiac Stress Testing, EEG, EMG, EKG, Urology, Neurology, Oncology and Dermatology related procedure spaces.  Support spaces include a clinical lab, waiting, registration, blood draw/EKG, medical records and physician office and lounge areas.  An existing inventory was conducted to account for significant reuse and to identify replacement items for the new location.

Equipment Collaborative worked with the architect in the development of space programs, schematic design and design development for the diagnostic imaging and laboratory areas.  Equipment Collaborative assisted the Owner during the pre-lease period to confirm MEP infrastructure and access to accommodate a lab and MRI and other Imaging equipment.  Significant reuse of equipment was coordinated and our team confirmed existing utilities prior to relocation.

The facility moved over a holiday weekend and minimized disruptions to scheduled clinic and diagnostic visits. Equipment Collaborative assisted the owner with a purge campaign and determined what equipment and furnishings stayed behind.
