This 16-story tower will include 180 acute care beds, 96 critical care beds, an emergency center expansion, diagnostic and interventional imaging, surgery and cancer programs including infusion, bone marrow transplant, clinics, pharmacy, lab and renovation of the existing dock, EVS and CS departments.

Equipment Collaborative is working closely with the team to maximize flexibility to support ever-advancing technologies such as interventional MRI, da Vinci® robotics and other hybrid interventional treatments.  The latest headwall and boom options are being considered along with best practices for same handed rooms and integration of LEED, patient safety and family-centered care concepts.

The new building is scheduled to open in 2014.
