The development of the MARC as a “world-class” facility will be built on a 14-acre tract in the South Texas Medical Center adjacent to other UTHSC SA facilities.  The UTHSC SA MARC project involves 250,000 sf of new construction, encompassing a range of outpatient and diagnostic and treatment services.

The initial phase of the MARC will include a clinic and ambulatory building to include ambulatory surgery, endoscopy, diagnostic imaging, wellness/rehabilitation, a woman’s center, specialty clinics and faculty offices – utilizing all new medical equipment. 

Equipment Collaborative has completed CDs phase and will be assisting the owner with procurement and installation management phases for the 2009 opening.  EC has assisted the owner with budget strategies to allow this new facility to be equipped at a pace with projected growth.
