As a leading provider of specialized pediatric services, Children’s Medical Center expanded their main campus with the addition of Tower D.  This eight-story critical care patient tower at CMC’s Motor Street Campus provides a new public lobby with upper floors that includes perioperative patient prep and recovery areas, cardiovascular ICU, Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care beds, oncology and bone marrow transplant beds and related patient and staff support areas.  An inpatient pharmacy with IV and chemotherapy prep areas is also included. Robotics provides new levels of automation and accuracy for patient safety.

Equipment Collaborative has provided comprehensive equipment planning, procurement, installation and warehouse management service over the past two years, working on a variety of inpatient and outpatient projects including the new Emergency Center expansion and a multi-phase laboratory renovation project that spans several floors.  Our team incorporated LEAN workflow concepts to maximize staff efficiency and optimize instrumentation flow.
