UT M.D. Anderson Cancer Center
Center for Advanced Biomedical Imaging Research

Houston, Texas
As the world’s leading expert in cancer diagnosis and treatment, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is committed to research on new methodologies for visualization of cancerous tumors. The Center for Advanced Biomedical Imaging Research (CABIR) is a collaboration of partners including M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and GE Medical Systems.

This facility takes the lead in the bench-to-bedside concept by providing space for the research and development of the next PET scanners, CT scanners and testing new imaging protocols for future use in the clinical setting.

Over the past 10 years, Equipment Collaborative has installed imaging and radiation equipment in the inpatient and outpatient clinical settings at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Our team provided infrastructure recommendations that will be flexible enough to support the continuum of research – and imaging modalities that will be developed, tested and changed out over time.
